World Dissolver

A 6 track electronic ep (32m 20s) — released December 13th 2013 on Waltzer

World Dissolver is possibly Ceephax's strongest EP to date. Creating perhaps his best medieval style Camelot track thus far with the lead track "Legend of Phaxalot". It's exploding with acid chivalry and 707 stomping knightly excellence. Taking the name from the viewdata teletext service "Prestel" is a classic 808 piano banger with a jazzy "pages from ceefax" undertone. "Godzilla" is an older 909 pumper track already well known by Ceephax fans before this release with a timeless melody that never ages. "Ceephunk" is a sleazy acid funker with a slight dabble of melancholic vibe in the chords. At 9 minutes long "Probey's Poker" is the prog anthem of the EP, starting with an atmospheric ambient intro moving into 8 bit style power bop. As the track progresses through many marvellous melodies it reaches a full on arpeggiated amen kquanger before returning to the main melody and ending on a apocalyptic jungle sludgeslam.
