Exidy Tours

A 16 track leftfield/idm album (58m 55s) — released March 12th 2003 on Waltzer

Exidy Tours is Ceephax's electronic music manifesto for 2003. Spanning genres from ambient, jungle, acid, medieval rave, IDM, general midi funk and more. Recording on cassette, reel and DAT. Highly experimental and yet always wonderfully melodic. It is an insight into a young and excited mind so full of creativity it's hard to contain in one album.

It starts with Plusion, a fuzzily recorded melancholic piano piece later echoed in pieces such as nordic house and abbaye. Rolls Royce and City Collars show Ceephax's warped sense of humour, whilst Moor show a moody deepness which is completely contrary to those tracks. Hull Drum n Bass is a jungle powerhouse with atmosphere in the middle breakdown and Trolley Service is just crazy high speed drill n bass with Ceephax's signature wonky acid thrown in for good measure. Essex Remblance and Camelot Jostle are on medieval IDM epic duty... All in all an album that suggests anything is possible and will continue to inspire for years to come.
